Pair of silver and enamel Heraldic spoons. Birmingham 1977.

These beautiful spoons were assayed in Birmingham in 1977, the year of Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee. They are of exceptional quality, a very heavy grade of silver, the knops of the spoons being modelled as Heraldic beasts holding superbly enamelled sheilds. The modelling and casting is of a very high standard and stylistically the spoons appear much earlier. Full hallmarks are struck in the bowl of each spoon.

These stunning silver and enamel spoons each measure 14cm long and are 3.2cm at their widest point. (Measurements approximate). They are in excellent condition, having no damage and no restoration.
