Continental silver and white enamel box. c. 1920.
This superb quality box, decorated with white enamel, with a blue ribbon and floral swags was proced in the early part of the twentieth century. The workmanship is of exceptional quality, the top and sides of the box being enamelled over an engine turned design in the silver beneath. The base of the box is fully marked and the standard of silver is 900. The interior of the box retains its fine gilding.
This beautiful white enamelled box is 5cm in diameter and stands 2cm high. (Measurements approximate). It is in excellent condition, showing only light wear appropriate to its age. It has no damage and no restoration.
